Imagine making valuable business connections without the awkwardness
You’ve been there before. Walking into a crowded hotel conference room. Scanning unfamiliar faces. Clutching a coffee cup like a shield. Rehearsing your elevator pitch for the hundredth time while wondering if anyone will actually remember you tomorrow.
Traditional networking can feel forced, uncomfortable, and often unproductive—leaving you wondering if the time and effort were truly worthwhile.
What if networking felt natural, enjoyable, and genuinely productive?
Imagine stepping into the fresh morning air, enjoying a delicious breakfast sandwich while chatting effortlessly with fellow professionals. Then, walking side-by-side through beautiful grounds, your conversations flow naturally—no awkward silences or forced small talk.
By the time you leave, you’ve made real connections with people who actually remember you and your business.
I’m Charlotte Davies, copywriter and business connection specialist, and I’ve created the antidote to stiff, uncomfortable networking events.
Netwalk and Talk combines breakfast networking, expert marketing insights, and natural conversation while walking in beautiful surroundings.

“I was not surprised that Charlotte Davies’s recent ‘Netwalking’ event was an absolute success. I know Charlotte to be an experienced networker herself and as such aware of people’s expectations at such gatherings.
My fellow attendees were an interesting and eclectic mix of business people who, whilst enjoying the beautiful grounds of Weston Park, managed to exchange not only business cards but also ideas and aspirations and forge new business relationships and potential support groups.
I very much look forward to attending further such events.”

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing are recommended. The walk is gentle and takes place on established paths, but checking the weather forecast beforehand is advisable.
What if it rains?
Netwalk and Talk events go ahead in light rain (don’t forget your umbrella and waterproof jacket). In case of severe weather, I have some back up activities so we can stay indoors instead.
Do I need to be fit to participate?
You should be able to walk at a leisurely pace for about 45 minutes on mostly flat terrain. The paths are well-maintained and accessible, but participants are responsible for their own health and fitness. Remember, we’re walking and talking, so comfort is important.
What kind of businesses attend?
A diverse range of business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals from across Wolverhampton and the West Midlands attend. From creative freelancers to established service providers, all are welcome.
Is there parking available?
Yes, Weston Park offers ample free parking for attendees.
Is it a membership?
No. Netwalk and Talk is a pay-as-you-go event. You can attend as many or as few as you like. This approach ensures there’s always a refreshing mix of new and familiar faces at each event.
I haven't been before, and I'm worried I don't know anyone. Can you help?
Of course! It’s a really friendly event. If it’s your first time, let me know and I’ll make sure to introduce you to other guests. Many attendees come alone their first time and quickly feel comfortable in our welcoming atmosphere.
